Ian teaches our 7-week Makeup FX & Prosthetics Creation course. An all-rounder with skills across the board in the subject of screen prosthetics, Ian’s career began in the mid 1980s on films such as Little Shop of Horrors, Gothic and When the Whales Came. His other major movie credits include Fury, Wrath of the Titans, Warhorse, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Clash of the Titans, 28 Weeks Later, Alexander, Alien 3, From Hell and Saving Private Ryan.

He has worked extensively with Neill and Millennium FX over the years, including long stints on BBC TV shows Doctor Who and Wizards vs Aliens. He began teaching two years ago for CMU, College of Makeup Art & Design in Toronto, Canada where he was a tutor in film and TV, prosthetics and creature design.
